Tax Refund Direct Deposit 1 week late?

I filed with Turbox Tax and let SBBTral tak the charges out of my refund. After they took the TurboTax charges, they were supposed to deposit the remainder $2458 into my account at my bank. I didn't have money at the time I filed, or I would have just paid Turbo Tax and had the IRS do the direct deposit. The money was supposed to be in my account on Friday of last week. The 29th of February. Here it is almost a week later and it is still not here. My bank says no ACH posts have been made, or attempted to be made to my account. They have also searched all other accounts, and no deposits were made with that exact dollar amount. I have called SBBT and they keep saying that they did their part and I just need to wait for it to show up. They also said they can't put a trace on the money until after 10 days have past. This is getting redicuolous, I need to pay some major bills with that money. I was counting on it to be deposited on Friday.

It's obvious they want to hold onto the money for as long as possible. Expect to wait another few weeks at least. The more people you allow to dip their fingers into your money along the way the longer it will take to get to you. Don't do it that way next time unless you want to wait forever.

You should have a contract with them stating what the agreement is....I would think that you would collect the late fee since it would be added to the rent and that you should be paying them a percentage for the full amount that they collect...If you do not have a contract and since you are so unhappy with this manager I would hire a property manager and put the terms into the contract stating they get a percentage of what is collected....I would think that it is illegal for her to keep the late charges since it is your property and I would assume that you are getting the rent late if she is....if she is not doing the proper job get rid of her even if you are under contract, even if you have to get an attorney to do it

If you are the landlord, you are entitled to all the money. You only pay her a salary. I dont think she is a good PM. She is scamming you. What makes you think she gives you the full amount of any other monies?

You need to make it financially rewarding for your property manager to get the payments you are due in on time. If it becomes financially rewarding for the property manager to do what they are doing then they will continue to do it. Reevaluate how your property manager is compensated and change the payment structure and specify that all late fees will go to you the owner, after all it is your investment. Reward on time payments.

This also holds true for vacancy rates. If your manager is compensated the same for 50% vacancy as they are for a 10% vacancy rate then they will settle for a 50% vacancy rate. This result, however, is going to hit your bottom-line very hard.
My apartment doesn't have a PM. It only has a maintenance guy, and you mail your check to my landlord's house. My grandma owns and rents a lot of houses, and even though she goes through an agent, my grandma gets the late fees, although she just charges 25. I have never heard of 100 late fee. That seems rather high. I would just get a PM that gets a free apartment to do the job, that's what my dad's friend use to do, and no, the money does not belong to the PM, it's your apartment.
That is called embezzlement. Better call in the authorities and do an audit. Please don't warn her before you show up..........

Most states require that anyone involved in managing other peoples real estate be licensed agents. If so then the real estate commission for that state would be the governing body with whom you should take this up.
Why should you be entitled to any money? Are you married to the property manager? Do you collect the money? If you want the money, then fire the property manager and do the collection of the monies yourself. And if you hire a new property manager, put it down in writing that ALL fees collected go directly to you, and that you pay the property manager a salary.

My period 3 weeks late. My last period was Oct.9th though the 12th. I'm pretty regular so I know that I'm more than likely pregnant. The thing is that up until a month or so ago I've been messing with the same guy, him and only him, for over a year. My main guy, lets call him guy #1, and I have been having sex regularly. Within the past 2 months we've been using condoms everytime. There's a possibility that maybe once we didn't but neither of us is sure. Anyways so heres the weird part...Last month, Oct.13th and 14th, I caught up w/one of my ex's, Guy #2, and we messed around a few times. Not sex but other stuff. W/O being too graphic there were hands all over the place, fingers all over the place and lots of rubbing. He was really wet but didn't fully *** I dont think.

My question is that I've heard it's possible to get pregnant without having sex, if the sperm gets close enough, and i'm sure it was close enough. With the timing and stuff who would the dad be? Ideas please!!!

I seriously doubt that its #2s baby. I took classes in college and they never said such a thing. Im now pregnant and my guy always pulled away in enough time. Infact, first time together and i got pregnant. its #1s baby, rest assured.

Yes it is possible. I had a friend get pregnant messing around. It's pretty hard to do, but as long as sperm has contact with the vagina there is a chance it could happen.

You say you and your boyfriend aren't sure if there was a time you didn't use a condom then you probably didnt. If you use condoms every time then there wouldnt be any doubt if you used it that time instead.

Being that you said you were with your ex just one day after your period ended and didn't even penetrate...I would venture to say it's your boyfriend who is the father. I doubt you would have been fertile the day after your period ended unless you have a VERY short cycle (which is possible btw)...sperm can live in your vagina for a few days..but unless you have a short cycle I doubt it was him.

Since #2 was right after your period, chances are it's guy #1's. Ovulation happens in the middle of the menstrual cycle. Whether or not you used condoms with #1, unfortunately, they aren't reliable as a source of birth control. If you are pregnant, baby's dna is the only 99.9% answer, but I think there is a very remote chance of #2 being the father. Good luck.
Honey you can quit worrying. If you started your period on the 9th of October that means that you were ovulating on the 23rd of October. You were not fertile on the 13th or the 14th. Unless you are ovulating ( and you were not) the sperm cannot live more than 24 hours in the acidic environment of the vagina. Those suckers were dead before there was any egg for them to get to. It is true that people have gotten pregnant from what they call "heavy petting" but those folks should be in the Guinness Book of World Records.....really. If your guy did not actually ejaculate then the odds go to zero, real quick. They used to think that preejaculate had viable sperm in it but now they know that under ordinary circumstances it does not. In any case, the chances of getting pregnant from a single act of intercourse, without using anything, are 0 to 20%! Those are NOT very good odds. I am frankly surprised that you managed to get pregnant using condoms but evidently you did. Be happy and go ahead and celebrate. Your "main guy" is gonna be a Daddy! Get ready to enjoy a really magical time in your life!

Ovulation usually happens roughly 12-14 days after the start of your last period. Since you started your last period on the 9th, you were at your most fertile between the 21st and the 24th of October. While you should not be so pleased with your behaviour, you are lucky that it is your actual boyfriend who has fathered your child. Why don't you take a pregnancy test to make sure?

P.S. This theory goes to hell if you are wrong with your dates. If it was the 20th that you messed around, you are in trouble. Sperm can last inside the womens body for up to 72 hours. Even without ejaculation, if he rubbed up on you when he was secreting seminal fluid, you could have become pregnant by him.

I have been having light cramps all day today. Does anyone know how long after ovulation does implantation take place?? We have been trying to get pregnant so it is very possible but my hopes are not very high right now because the test was negative. But maybe my levels are just not up there yet. The only other times I was ever late I was pregnant. I have a 2 year old and I had a miscarriage in October. Anyone ever experience this? Thank you all!

well it sure sounds like you are pregnant :) usually depending on hcg levels you can test a week after missed period, or even better get a blood test... it can show real low levels of hcg .

I was well into my fourth month before I was able to get a positive reading on any pregnancy test with both of my kids.
Implantation starts as soon as you conceive. It takes 7-10 days to complete implantation.

If you are a few days late you should test positive.

It sounds like you ovulated later in this cycle than you think you did. When you ovulate late, you have to wait longer for your period to show up or get a positive pregnancy test.

I would wait a few days and test again if no period.

I tested 5 days after my missed period and it was negative I tested again the next day and it came out negative again. Now I'm 9 days late but i still think it's because of the flu that I got last week it was a light one but i don't know.....

I'm 37 weeks pregnant and I feel like Im having menstral cramps/lower back pain and I have had diarrhea for the past few days. Is this normal? I know that diarrhea can be a sign that your body is getting ready for labor. Anyone know how long it will be? (I haven't passed my mucous plug as far as I know -- can you go into labor without this happening?)

yes, you can go into labor without losing your mucus plug, if the pain in becoming more intense and laster longer at a time, than its the real deal, unfortunately you wont know unless you wait it out, and if it becoming more intense, try using this website to calculate your contractions....its great!!!!

omg I feel so sorry for you. I know exactly how you feel. When I was pregnant the last month or two was hell. I asked my doctor what I could do and they said nothing really. Nothing was wrong with me. It sucked so bad. As long as you aren't getting dehydrated. Ask if some immodium is ok to take or pepto bismol. I had this and I wasn't really near delivery. I don't know if it has anything to do with labor or not. Ask your doctor any questions you have. They could tell you better than anyone on here. Congrats and good luck
I felt that way the last 4 weeks I was pregnant. Remember to keep the fluids up, especially having the diarrhea. You can be in labor without losing the mucous plug also. Just rest and lay on the left side, drink lots of water. My doctor said it was normal for me.
Thats normal... your body is preparing for labor. Congratulations! It can take some time but I'm gonna say two weeks tops. Probably much sooner.

When I had my first baby, I had exactly the same thing. It's your body getting ready. But it doesn't mean you're going into labour. I think this lasted just over a week with me, but everyone's different. I also went into labour without having a show and my waters didn't break. But then, labour only lasted 5 hours with absolutely no complications, so I can't complain!

You are in the early stages of labor right now. Time those 'cramps and lower back pain' then call your ob and tell them what is happening and how close those 'cramps' are. Chances are that your ob will want you to go in and get checked out. Good luck and congrats!

Yes, you can still go into labor with out this passing! Its sound like your body is preparing its self for labor, right before you give birth( up to 1-2 days) your body will try to rid its self of all bowl movement, so when your are delivering, (nothing else comes out) except your baby and whatever follows after. the cramps you are having (cramps) sound like Early labor pains ( from experience!) I would call your Doctor right away and even page him (seriously) and explain to him the pain your experiencing and the diarrhea also. Congratulations and Good Luck!!!!

How can i get rid of the late night creeps?

I'm a regular coast to coast AM listener so i cant help but get the lat night creeps after or during the show. I was just wondering if there is any way to get rid of these scares at night i have a very open mind so i think about a lot of the things on the show and sometime at about 2:30 ill start having a hard time going to bed and will frequently see things out of the corner of my eye (of course it my imagination and not shadow people... i think). How can i get rid or prevent the late night creeps? it effects my sleep.

Walk around in the dark and asure yourself that there is nothing to creep you out.(at Night)
When my ex-Husband walked out on me I got the late night creeps, so I bought a children's night light. It goes into the electric socket and just gives off a gentle glow.

Using this for a few weeks was enough to get me past thinking that the bogie man was about to come out of the bathroom!
Use a night light. Stop watching shows that will help along the night creeps. Trust me there is nothing to worry about.
Get on some type of anti-anxiety medicine that can knock you out quicker, just before bedtime like Xanax.
dont eat or drink and sugary foods/drinks before bed time. Stop watching or listening to things that give you the creeps before bed time. Try to do something really relaxing or vigorous to put you to sleep faster.
how about not watching scary movies, especially

at night, i know i don't. but i love scary movies,

but only in daylight.

Also, listen to something upbeat and funny right after listening to your show, or watch a funny show right after, something to calm your mind and your body so you don't think about whatever it is scaring. you.

I started my cycle on June 13. Just 2 days ago it felt like I was ovulating. I would normally be getting my period right about now. Nothing like this has ever happened before. I have had one successful pregnancy and one miscarriage which was over a year ago. Everything has been fine since then but now my body kind of feels achy and like it did when I had my miscarriage. I took a pregnancy test today but I think it only picks up the hormone at 100 mui. Any suggestions on what might be going on here?
