Recently found out that my deceased mother was kidnapped, taken to the states by two men who went around robbing post offices. Must have happend in late 50s to the mid 1960s. They got caught and sent to jail. How can I find more information? This was a federal crime in the States, right? So there should be accessable information somewhere?

There are public records available in every state. Find out what state and county they were apprehended, and go from there. I hope this helps. If not, hire an investigator;)
