Why do people get penalized for being late for something and never rewarded for being early?

Especially when most people are always LATE?

Why do people get penalized for being late for something and never rewarded for being early?sunshine

cuz noone asked them to be early%26gt; ? ? ?

reward your self.. don't expect everyone to reward you for everything thing you do that is right!

that may be a little harse but it's the truth!

took me a while to find it!

i'm always earily! but now i do it for my own benifit!

when your late you hold other people up and it ruins there day! yes it is there own fault for letting someone else run there lifes like that but don't that sort of make you feel good that people depend on you?

I mean if they didn't fuss then wouldnt you feel a little worthless! not important to them!

well good luck!

preset your clocks forward or have someone do it for you one day with out telling you! bet you'll be on time!

Mad luv
Your reward for being early is not getting punished for being late.
Ahhhh, sounds like you're one of the ones who's never early, so you don't know that we who are early,

get to the front of the line,

don't like seeing you get there late,

are tired of your excuses for being late,

and really don't care why you're continually late, BUT.....

we invite you to get there early next time, and come to the front of the line with us.
I have heard of a term called CPT ( Colored peoples time) dont get mad at me people, I love all colors of the world and think it would be a boring place if we all looked the same.... But anyhow, this CPT is something I have adopted as my personal philosophy. I have found it in South America and in Africa and I love it.

It means that people tell you a time when something is going to happen, but they really dont mean you need to be there at that time....they really mean it to be a generalization.....I would venture to say that the non-western world lives on CPT.

CPT allows people to live a laid back life, doing the things that are important and not being slaves to time.....

Just an example to help you understand, and I hope it makes you feel better about your tardiness.

I went to a wedding in Peru and the invitations said it would start at 6 PM, but they only put that time on the invitation because they were hoping to start by 9:00PM...... and by 9:00 most people had showed up so the wedding took place and was wonderful.

I wish we could stop being so silly about time.....life is too precious for the wasted energy on stress.
Being early does have its rewards at time, like being first in line or getting the best seat. Being late sometimes carries no penalties, like showing up late to a party.

You didn't specify what you were being late for. If you're referring to something like school, it is scheduled to start at a specific time, and it is rude and disruptive to be late. You're interferring with the teacher's schedule and the other students' ability to learn - especially if the teacher has to go back and repeat things or if you ask questions that have already been answered.

If you are referring to work, the manager sets a schedule to have a specific number of people working at a specific time based on the needs of the business. Again, it is rude and disruptive if you are late, because other people have to take up the slack until you arrive.
You're SO right. In a society of 'just make everyone happy - can't we all just get along'...it's AMAZING how much they work so hard at 'Punishers'! Can you tell I work around Therapists all day? It's a good question. It's negative to penalize, but how else will some people learn respect and responsibility?
Your reward is not feeling the pain of being penalized.
